Development Law: Manual on Financial Services (2006)

As part of our “Development Law Book Series,” we have focused this edition on the financial services laws and development. Here we are focused on the overarching legal framework within which financial services operate in Nigeria and the need for reforms to put it on the path of steady growth. This is due to the belief that one of the greatest hindrances to the expected outcomes of the ongoing reform of the financial services industry is the dearth of functional and effective legal regime and legal tools that aid modern financial service operations.
