Zainab Afolabi is an Associate at Olisa Agbakoba Legal and a member of the Dispute Resolution, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and Maritime Practice Groups.

In her current capacity, she serves as the Secretary for both the Maritime and ADR practice groups. She actively supports senior counsel in a wide range of legal services, including the drafting of court processes, compliance duties, client representation in court, and general negotiations. Her maritime expertise specifically covers vessel registration, mortgages, the arrest of vessels, and debt recovery. Furthermore, Zainab frequently represents clients as counsel in mediation and arbitration matters.

Prior to joining OAL, Zainab developed her skills as a litigation counsel with a specific focus on the enforcement of human rights and criminal litigation. Her core areas of expertise now include vessel registration, litigation, mediation, arbitration, and chartered secretarial services.
