Product Description
In View of the P & ID Case, Should Nigeria Adopt a National Arbitration Policy?” was discussed in the first industry wide consultation webinar (conference) organised by Dr. Olisa Agbakoba SAN after his appointment as Chair of Nigeria’s National Arbitration Policy Committee.
Nigeria’s Honourable Attorney General and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami SAN (HAGF) noted during appointment that “the decision to set up the National Arbitration Policy Committee came at the nick of time when the practice of arbitration in the country was facing challenges, particularly with the negative outcomes of arbitral proceedings in the ongoing litigation by the Federal Government against the award of almost $10billion (inclusive of seven percent interest) to Process and Industrial Development Limited (P& ID) by a London seated Arbitral Tribunal on January 31, 2017.
