OAL SET Growth Capsule

The Olisa Agbakoba Legal (OAL) SET Capsule is an initiative of the Sport, Entertainment and Technology practice group of Olisa Agbakoba Legal. This capsule program was originally created in 2021 to bridge the gap in the Startup ecosystem for quality startup friendly legal services.

Nigeria’s startup ecosystem is a leading hub for entrepreneurs in Africa with over $4bn raised by founders till date. However, the major challenge faced by most startups is not just funding but good professional support.

Over 80% of startups will fail within 2years because of a lack of access to good advisers, we are here to bridge that gap.

The SET Growth Capsule is passionate about supporting early stage entrepreneurs businesses in Nigeria and its  program is designed to provide business support, legal advice and regulatory compliance to small businesses and entrepreneurs that meets the requirements of the growth capsule.

Requirements

To qualify for this SET Growth Capsule Cohort, the following must be met:

  • Applicants with exciting dynamics and innovation business ideas
  • Applicants must be business owners based in Nigeria
  • The business must have been active for at least 2 years with an active customer base.
  • The business must have a proven Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
  • Applicants must not be less than 18 years
  • Applicants must show passion and commitment to the objective of the business.
  • Applicants must be at the revenue stage
